Frequently Asked Questions

Here are answers to some of your questions. If you have more, feel free to call us at Fox Window & Gutter Cleaning and our customer representatives would be more than happy to give you the information you need.

1. How much will this cost? The price is about $15 per window pane. A window can have one, two, three, four, or more panes. Sliding glass doors cost a little more.

2. Do you do 3rd floor buildings? No, unless all windows can be accessed without using a ladder. We do not use ladders at this time.

3. If you don’t use ladders, what do you use? We use poles. They are safer.

4. Will my windows get as clean with poles? Some customers think so and some do not. Because of this, we charge 25% less for all windows we clean with a pole. Please note that paint and other stains may be difficult to clean with this method.

5. Are there any hidden charges? No. Unlike companies that tell you they have to do an in-home estimate to give you a price, we tell you our rates on our website. Hard-to-remove stains or spots may get charged a few dollars more, but everything else is listed so that you can estimate the price, for yourself. However, if you would rather us come out to give you a firm price, please call or email us.

6. What time will you show up for my appointment? We will let you know in advance. We will give you a 2-hour window, just in case we are running late on an earlier job.

7. What should I do to prepare for your company? Make sure that all windows are unblocked by moving all furniture (if possible). Also, please raise all blinds and drapes. We prefer to deal with blinds and drapes as little as possible. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

8. Do I have to be there when the worker(s) arrive? Yes. You should also be there at the end so that you can do a final walkthrough.

9. Why should I be confident that you will do a good job? Our reputation is on the line. Because of this, we require a final walkthrough for every cleaning to ensure your satisfaction. We will re-clean any window that you are not satisfied with.

10. Do you do same-day cleaning? Sometimes. However, because of how busy we are, we must charge 50% more if we are able to do a same-day cleaning. There is a 25% charge for all next-day cleanings. The bottom line is please give us at least 2-days notice, if at all possible.

11. What if I am not satisfied? With our final walkthrough, hopefully you will tell us of your dissatisfaction. We will re-clean any window immediately. In the slim event that you wait until we leave, please do not hesitate to call us to let us know that you are unhappy. We will come back out and re-clean your windows. This is our guarantee. Our goal is customer satisfaction…100% of the time.

12. How do I pay? You can pay by cash, check, or money order when we are finished.
